The Third Sanskrit Term For Dream
This week we are focusing on the 3rd Sanskrit term for dream, this is Pratibha.
This type of imagining is the creative energy that causes those random bursts of insight… the lightbulb moment, the ‘ah ha’, the instant inspiration.
This creative force is what formed our most talented artists and inventors, it is a type of imagining that comes from our innate inner wisdom and requires a deeper connection to the self in order to come through.
How do we develop that connection? Awareness.
How do we develop awareness? Through our yoga practices.
Yoga (taught properly through wise sequencing and energy mastery) expands your mind folks. Which will give you a new perspective on everything. And it’s from that space your dreams become possible. Otherwise, we stay limited to those strategies that rely on striving and forcing. We lean on just our physical means and the resources of our small sense of Self!
We are practicing this week with focus on our energy centres, also known as Chakras. By working on our connection to the subtle aspects of ourselves, and the energy that flows through us, we can start to make our way closer to our innate self. From this connection to our higher Self, we can start to access the spontanious creativity of Pratibha.
