As a practice of union, Yoga has got me to slow down and step out of speed cycle that was at times addictive, restless and unhealthy. 🤒

Now I get that the more we take on, the more difficult it is to get off our speed mills. Life just gets fuller and fuller and you just have to keep running to keep up. 🏃🏻‍♀️ And the more we run, the more we lose our way.
We deplete our inner resources (our bodies) and our external resources (the planet).

Do you see it? Want a way out?

YOGA FOR WHEN IT ALL GOES SCREWY

And for when you’re just not feeling all that positive mindset m’larky

I got a post in my newsfeed just now that curiously aligned with what I wanted to share with you this week. So here it is…

It said:

If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L means First Attempt In Learning.

End, is not the end. In fact, E.N.D means “Effort Never Dies”.

If you get NO as an answer, remember N.O means “Next Opportunity”.

Christmas is coming. Deal with it! Your yogi strategy.

Yep, we are officially in the rapids that are hurtling us towards Christmas and New Year, question is will you sink or will you swim? Ho Ho Ho… yeah, I know, not the most positive of seasons’ greetings (especially coming from a yogi). But let’s not kid ourselves…this time of year can be a STRESSSS FESSST.

Whether you’ll ride the yule tide rapids and reach calmer water has little to do with if you’ve got the buoyancy aid or a lifesavers’ certificate and everything to do with the answer to this question.

 Have you got the mindset?

Let’s go see.

3 Reasons to Find Permission to Pause

YOGA, as well as a really cool physical practice that gives us a great outer bod, also encourages us to take a look under the hood (so to speak) and tinker around for some deeper solutions to life’s daily challenges.

Today’s yoga solution is:  Find Permission to Pause.

Let’s be real, only when you draw that line in the sand, pin your flag to the mast, dig in your size sixes and scream ‘enough now’. Then and only then, can things start to shift in your life, evolve – move along baby.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, whatever you want that result to be is, as Einstein famously put, insane.

I’m not calling anyone crazy, here, but maybe, urmm aren’t we a little?
