Yoga – My Journey | Getting Back On The Mat

by Paul Warner

NO.

There, I said it. A simple word and one that means no further action on my part, the ‘easy out’. As we all did, yoga stopped for me in December for the Christmas break, this was near fatal to my regime.
Read on to find out how I got over a dose of the ‘No’ Tourettes.

MEN ON MATS

Hey my friend…. jumping right in with a request… I’m looking for blokes.☺️🧘🏼‍♂️

What kind of blokes? I know you’re asking. So here’s a list and see if you recognise anyone you know.

  • Muscle bound athletes (strong but tight. This is in no particular order..really 😝).
  • Naturally flexible guys (loose but weak).
  • Tight and inflexible guys….(yep you can get both).
  • Stressed out men.
  • Men driven by competitive challenge who tend to overdo to prove themselves.
  • Men rehabbing an injury (see above).
  • Men seeking relief from decades of wear and tear (all of the above).🤦‍♀️
  • 5 Books that EVERY yogi should read

When was the last time you read a book? Or, for you non-book readers out there, read any kind of publication at all? Chances are, you’ve been reading since the day you learned to read – and even now you’re reading this! You may even frequent Facebook – catching up on your friends’ Facebook posts, […]

Yoga – My Journey | BEGIN AGAIN

Yoga – My Journey | Week 6 | Begin Again

    by Paul Warner

A new beginning… or Begin|Again to be precise.

Having completed the four-week Begin course as a yoga newbie, I had decided that I had found my thing and I wanted yoga to start to play a part in my life.

    How did that go..?

Grab a brew and catch up on the progress I made in just five short hours of yoga…

Yoga – My Journey | Meditation

    Yoga – My Journey | Week 5 | Meditation

Do you look outside for things to ‘fix you’, make you feel good?

Maybe food, nice (expensive) things, alcohol, medication, other people? Want to unleash your body’s natural and miraculous power to heal itself and feel good from the inside out?

Meditation is it. But don’t take my word for it. Yoga Begin graduate, Paul Warner, continues to talk about his yoga journey and how he’s gone about discovering his own time on the meditation mat. You can get started too… I’ve got a teeny, tiny challenge you might enjoy… so get curious and take a look. J X🙌

    Yoga- My Journey| Week 4

As a teacher, I get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride in watching the yoga newbies progress week on week. At least 80% of the new class intake go on to become fully fledged yogis and make there way around the timetable, Paul, is just one example. I also recognise that just as the […]
