But let’s bring it down to real life for a moment. Have you ever had one of those days where everything just feels dull? Maybe you’ve been dragging yourself through the daily grind, feeling like you’re just going through the motions. The spark’s gone out, and everything—work, relationships, even your downtime—feels flat. It’s like the colour’s drained out of life, and you’re stuck in a monotonous routine.

How to Build Motivation in Class

In our classes this month will be making you aware of how to ignite your Tejas. We’ll be working with breathwork, dynamic sequences, and postures that leave you feeling energised and inspired.  

The idea is to stoke that inner fire, so you leave the mat feeling not just physically stronger, but mentally and emotionally uplifted as well. 

For example, if you’ve been feeling stuck in a job that drains you, cultivating Tejas might give you the clarity and courage to start looking for something that aligns more with your passions. If your relationships have been feeling a bit stale, that inner fire can bring warmth and connection back into your interactions, making your conversations more meaningful and your time together more enjoyable.

Tejas is also what helps you break free from that cycle of procrastination or laziness. Instead of dragging yourself to the gym or yoga class because you feel like you have to, Tejas makes you want to show up.
